Hi guys,

I have a new 2007 TLS and i couldn't find this topic on the forum so i thought i would ask.

When the key is in the ignition in position 1 or 2, i hear a static sound coming from the center speaker. This static remains on all the time until the key is removed from the ignition. I suspect it has something to do with HFL because that seems to be where the HFL voice comes from, or is this the ANC feature?

I was wondering if this is normal because i can hear it and it is disturbing. Shouldn't the HFL speaker only turn on when it is speaking instead of being constantly on??

Is there anyway to fix this other then blasting the stereo??

Love the car other besides this noise whice is driving me crazy.

there is an update out for the 07 about static when using the hfl a assume that means when ur parked!?

Doesn't sound normal to me, my HFL doesn't do that. I believe the ANC is a Type-S only feature so lets see what the Type-S guys say.

Actually it is present all the time as soon as the key is in the ignition I or II.
But when i am driving it is less noticable due to the environmental noises and wind but as soon as the car is at a stop...and no stereo or climate control is running, it is there.

Is this update posted anywhere, could you direct me to that link?
