Canadian TL USA-SPEC install

Can someone help me with the installation of the Hon2y on a Canadian TL? Since there is no XM in Canada where do we install? Where is the CD changer input?

If your talking about the connector to the headset its at the very back of the stereo, in a very difficult part of the car to reach. In the same spot the U.S. car has it!

There where a couple of threads on installation of the connector somewhere around here. My orginal Hon is dead and they won't warranty it because it's on a Canadian vehicle so there is no way they will get my money for their new model.

P.S. Am I glad we have FINALLY got a dealership in Red Deer, no more trips to those bozoo's at Westside!

Start at this link for how to do an install for USA Spec: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173870

It should be the same regardless of the fact that there's no XM. You'll just have no need for the Y-connector.

go with the dice R3, it works just fine. if you already have the USA spec, the plug is still in the back of the head unit just like the american version

When you press the menu button and you get to the setup screens. There are 4 options, the 4th option displays the database, mine says Continental U.S.A.
