can the TL play DTS 5.1 cd's
can the TL play DTS 5.1 cd's
Thanks to Actuary, I have been having fun creating dvd-a discs from concert dvd's using dvd audio extractor and dvd audio solo as he explaind in another post. By the way, they sound great, especially the Pink Floyd/Roger Waters ones I did.
While looking on ebay to see what dvd-a discs were available I came across DTS 5.1 cd's. I had never heard of these before. Will they play in the TL ?

However, I did buy the Sting DVD-A that is DTS (it's not a video disk, just audio), and it won't play in the TL, does play at about 1/10th normal volume then every 20seconds or so you get an ear shattering POP that sounds like it's gonna blow out a speaker or something, strange. The DVD does play in my new home system high end DVD/SACD player (Denon DVD-2910).
The DTS compatibility logo must not mean in every case, there are variations out there that won't work.
