Can somebody tell me what's wrong with my 04 TL NAVI and radio?

I bought a 04 TL two month ago at a very low price. When I bought it, the navigation part is not working. The former owner told me, it is the DVD navigation drive was wrong. I had to change that part. After a month later, I happened to need a jump start because of a careless mistake. I am a collage student, and the school department give me a jump start using a high voltage one. After that. the radio is not working any more. The anti-theft light is on and the blue light behind the button is on. But it is no use to press the button. i went to the dealer, and the dealer gave me some code about the electrical and told me this may need a lot of money to fix it.
After that I bought a good radio part and replace it. After that, it is all the same with before. The anti-theft light and the blue back light is on, but the radio is not working.

I think there is something wrong with the other part, and maybe it is this to cause the navigation and radio all failed.

Can someone help me with this and analyse which part is wrong if I provide the code.

I will throw this month working on it.

Really thank you!!

Sorry about this. It is just they are using something Professional。 A car give me 15min jump start but it did not work. Later they use something that is maybe high voltage and the engine start at once.

Before the navigation is not working. The navigation screen do not provide anything, so i don't know. Maybe it just ask for a code.
Anyway, I already decide to fix the navigation as well.

When you click the radio button, it does not ask you for a code on the navigation screen.
It asks for a code on the "little screen with temperature and time".
Go check it out and see if it does.

Take it to acura. lol .. thats the best advice I can give you. When you turn your car on, does your navi screen load and ask you for a code?

There are 2 codes you need. One for Navi and one for the radio.

The dealer told me there is a major problem in my car. They need a lot of effect to fix it and this may need a lot of money. They told me I may not need this. I saw that you gays can install a navigation system by yourself. Maybe I can do some. I just do not know which is the problem to start with.

The guy you bought it from lied to you. The navigation system is broken. It's not the wrong DVD, it's broken hardware. You will have to have the broken parts replaced, and that is going to be very expensive.

The reason your radio doesn't work is because when your battery died, it lost power, which means it wants you to enter the security code. But the screen that tells you to enter the security code is the navigation screen, and since that's broken, you won't be able to.

If you are in the United States, this may fall under "required disclosure" for the person who sold you the car, which means he was supposed to tell you what was wrong with it, and not lie about it. You may be able to force him to pay for the repair, but you would probably have to take him to court to do it.

So you mean that my radio maybe not broken, and what I need to do is replace the navigaton part. I think I can not find the person that sold me the car again. I thought he is lieing to me after I go to the acura dealer. So could me told me exactly which part I need to replace, I may try myself if the part is not that hard to get.

The radio code is entered into the "sub display" (clock) via the "1,2,3,4,5,6" buttons, not the navigation screen.

Radio code = sub display
Navi code = navigation screen

I found the answer to my question the two sets of numbers are actually the serial number that gets you the actual code and is not the code itself.

The radio code is a 5 digit number and the navi code is 4 digit number. You input the codes with the radio preset buttons =)If the wrong code has been entered too many times you will have to disconnect the battery to reset the anti theft. =)1-800-382-2238 is Acura client Services they can help you with radio codes if you dont have your radio serial numbers.

Strange. I could swear I remember typing in both codes on the nav screen when I replaced the battery. Must be on crack.

Assume the radio is Ok, I just can not type the code in it.

About the following error:61-1 batt voltage failure; 83-1 ECM/PCM relation failure. 86-1 can relation failure; B1005 Micu lost comm, B1150 comm. Error bus off, B1155 gauge control module lost comm; The B can system has serious communication problems.

which part I need to replace , I just not know what this stand for.
