I personally have yet to hear of anything like that with sirus, I have 4 sirius recievers on my account, 1 is a lifetime subscription for like $400 and the other three are $6-7 a month

look for the thread- renew for 77
Its really an introductory offer to new customers for the first 12 months, but you can always try and get it extended- never hurts to ask

Doh! I knew it was one of them. sorry
I had xm before and decided I could buy new cds of different music than hear the same stuff over and over on the few channels I really liked.
With the new plans on how the merged companies will offer service, why not call and ask what they will do for you?
Or do an internet search for sirius+ discount codes or coupons,,something like that.
I may not have the total answer- but a point in the right direction....
