Bluetooth audio w/wheel controls?
Just wondering if anyone managed to get a bluetooth A2DP gateway setup with steering wheel controls activated? Seems that the bluetooth side of the equation is a no brainer. Many many adapters out there that will connect to the phone. The hard part seems to be making your play/pause and skip buttons work on the steering wheel. Any ideas? Even a plug and play harness that I can solder into the adapter would be a step up.

I'm sort of wondering if this bluetooth to ipod dock adapter

will work in combination with my isimple to give skip controls on the steering wheel.

I have tried that one with my usa spec with a blackberry and so far it does not work. Cannot even get sound out of it. I am going to test it with andriod and iphone and will let you know.

You need to have AVRCP protocol support on your phone and one the dock reciever for it to work. I know the linked reciever supports AVRCP as does my phone. I'll have to borrow my wifes iphone and see how it responds to the steering wheel input when hooked up through my isimple.
