Blackberry Tour - 2006 Acura TL

I have a Blackberry Tour 9630 with Sprint and cannot sync with the Hands Free Link. I have tried "searching" instead of "listening". Nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

Blackberry Tour

I just baught a Blackberry Tour I had no problem linking it to the car. It took me a few trys because in the middle of pairing it would stop. Do the search mode. It been the best phone to work with the car, lots of options.

make sure your phone is set to "discoverable-yes"
go to bluetooth, click the BB button, options, discoverable dropdown - yes . voila!. shouldnt have any problems syncing the phone.

I also have a BB Tour from Verizon and did not have a problem pairing it. However I have problems placing calls. when I place a call it will not use the car bluetooth I have to manually activate it on my handset. Receiving calls its not a problem

I have the same damn problem. I can only receive calls through the hfl. The weird thing is that it actually worked correctly for like two days and then it went back to the same crap. I wonder if any one can shed light on this problem.

Post #1... go easy on a TL noob, but..

My tour was doing the same thing..ie.. couldnt answer an incoming call. I did some experimenting with the bluetooth options once the car and phone are connected... if you go into HFL bluetooth options and turn off the encryption, i found that worked for me..just an idea, but thought i would share.
