attention LED buyers
I just wanted to let all the guys that are getting LEDS for your interior lights and what not to watch out for which ones you get. Most of the ones labeled "ultra bright" are really not that bright. They might be bright at the bulb but the exposure / luminosity is poor. I got the ones from ebay that Robbie82 posted on his DIYish thread, those are one example.
Although most of us are still not too dissapointed about this because we are just happy we got rid of the yellow light, but they do make some 'real' ultra bright ones out
When youre shopping for LEDs, try to find out what MCD they are. MCD (millicandela ) is the measurement of intensity / brightness of the LED. Ranging from 5000ish and I have seen up to 30.000mcd. Most of the ones being flooded in the market are 8000-9000 mcd.
