ATT in Denver any good?
Hi all,
I have Verizon, but am considering moving to ATT so I can have more Bluetooth phone options. I had a bad experience with ATT wireless several years ago and I'm leary to go back to them. I'm concerned about the coverage area and roaming up in the mountains. Also, I haven't used a GSM network before and wonder if there are concerns I'm not aware of. Thanks a lot for your replies.

I'm using AT&T. I had it years ago, but left when they flooded the network with subscribers and it became difficult to get a line. At least tht is not now a problem. I had sprint in the inerim.
I'm in Boulder and AT&T coverage is "OK". About the same as I had with sprint. Verizon may be better.
I am just on AT&T to do teh family plan thing.

i already posted my opinion of att, but yeah their customer service is horrible as well...always gotta wait like an hr before talking to a customer rep.
in conclusion, att = bad reception, drop calls, horrible customer service

Boulder/Denver/Superior/CU campus etc etc.... I was up in Boulder last spring break to chill with one of my friends from CU. I had about 3/4 to full bars at most with my Nokia 6310i. I went back up this past March. This time I had more time to run around. I went up to Rocky Mountain National Park, Pearl St., up and down 36 and 25. Also, went into Downtown Denver and the bars and still had very good reception. Oh yeah, I have T-Mobile. I have been with T-Mobile for coming up on 4 years now and both times I went to Colorado, I've had awesome coverage. This past time I had a Sony Ericsson P900 and it performed very well. I also got coverage in certain lookout points at Rocky Mountain National Park where I could see some people hitting their phones to make the signal bump up. I had At&t way back when they had TDMA service and only kept them for 3 months. That's as bad as the experience got. T-Mobile has the cheapest rate plans right now and coverage is amazing.
