so my CD player stopped working, I can eject the CDs but the reading laser or mechanism doesn't seem to work. Can I buy a CD cleaner disc or is it toast. Well I need to buy an Isimple now and was wondering what the best was for a 2004 acura TL MT Navi. From searching I found these

I don't know too much about the iSimple but the one from Amazon looks more like a universal solution.

Just stay away from the AcuraMusicLink I got one thinking it would be nice to stay OEM its a pain in my ass.

As far as trying to clean the laser I am not sure either if you can use one of those cleaner discs with a changer, but someone please correct me if I am wrong.

ISHD571 is the latest model, but there is the ISIM71 which I believe is the older version (no longer on PAC audio's site nor Isimplesolutions.com).

I have the ISHD and it works fine..though sometimes quirky, but it works. Cant speak for the ISIM, but apparently it's very similar. Both support integration into the steering wheel controls/radio.

You can also have your radio rebuilt for about $200, or so. The CD player in my 2004 has not worked since I purchased the car.

I just ordered an ISHD571 for my '06 w/ Nav - hope it's iSimple to install!
