anyone try mpeg4 yet?

Just came back from shanghai and tokyo and the big thing out there now is mpeg4. I actually came across a hard-disk drive enclosure that is totally trick. Can play pictures, mpeg4's, mp3's, and even has a small remote.

I've got a 20gig harddrive from an old ibm thinkpad that i'm going to use with this enclosure and it is frickin compact. The whole enclosure can fit in the little valet/cubby holder located underneath the head unit which means no glove box / trunk space taken up and you can download about 10 movies to a 20G hdd!
I already tried it plugged to regular tv and it's sweet. Unit has a video out (as well as audio out) so I can plug up to monitors or navi-screen and look at all my mp3's.
I've banged on top of the enclosure and shook it like hell with no issues.

Can't wait to get my 7" monitors installed after I bring the car for B service next week. I'll keep you guys posted but am telling you, screw the bulky dvd/mp3 players. HDD with mpeg4 capability is the way to go. Depending on the size of your HDD, you can basically have an MP3 player and 10-15 disk DVD changer in the palm of your hand.
