Anyone give a name to the HFL - NAV ?
Has anyone else personified the voice from the HFL or Nav system? If so, what name did you choose and why?
My sister has a TSX, uses the male voice and calls him Bob. I've got the TL, use the female voice ( my masculinity is well intact ) and I've chosen Sally. I came up with that while listening to "Joe Cool" from Charlie Brown and Peanuts. If the name of the song isn't familiar the tune itself certainly is if you've ever watched on of the shows. Yeah, that's the one, now stop singing.
It's pretty cool having a real name for it. It's easier to say things like "Let's ask Bob"
instead of " I'll check the nav system for directions".

either screen 1 or 2. I'm not sure which option it is however there aren't too many of them to choose from.
I find that if you play around with it long enough something usually happens and it brings a smile to your face.
Works for the nav too.

Both my wife and I prefer the female voice, but I haven't named the car or the Navi since I'm bad at remembering names...
If you perform a search for "cebin," you will find threads related to modifying the navi/HFL system. Theoretically, the the cebin program will allow you to change certain audio files. Some computer literacy required.
