Any interest in review of Valentine One vs Escort Passport 9500i?

I recently bought both radar detectors so I could test them both out. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a review of the two... I'm testing them out side by side for two weeks then returning the one I don't like. Let me know if anyone would be interested in this.

You wasted a perfectly good thread on a question about if we would like to read a review!?!??!?

You'll quickly learn that here at AZ we love reviews.
Test away! and write them reviews already.

i <3 my valentine 1 but would love to see how the 9500i would go. i was debating between that one also when i was in the market. so far the v1 does everything perfect for me by giving me detection.

It'd be nice. I wouldn't mind trying out a V1 but I'm happy with my 9500ix.

On the fence about getting a radar detector in general, but these are the two I would be looking at. Would love to be able to read another driver's input/comparison of the two!

I've had my Escort 9500ix for about a year now. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to go with the Escort, I could not be happier. Not to mention, it matches the interior pretty well. haha

I have the V1 and I'm starting to find it be more and more useless every day.... as almost every cop is shooting me with laser. All radar detectors are garbage in helping you against laser. Time to step up to the jammers.

I have mine mounted high next to the mirror. Never remove it. Going on 8 years & no attempted theft.

I owned the 9500CI ($1,600) and sold it for the V1 + LI Quad setup. I'm totally protected by radar and front/rear lidar.
Also owned X50, RX75 and RX65 in my past. I recommend the 9500ix only for city driving or have a nagging wife. V1 does go off at every CVS/Walgreens.
Also I do shoot lidar guns at lidar meetings and Laser Interceptors never give up real pouchthroughs like Blinder or ZR4. Heck, ZR4s give massive PT at +1,000ft as if you got no jammers. All properly install LIs give PT under 200ft and you gotta work to get those numbers. Test course is generally +2,000ft.

Aren't some jammers, like the k40 (i heard this from a guy over the weekend so dont roast me if its wrong) EX2, are supposed to turn off at around 200 feet to give the cop an accurate reading... have you heard this? His explanation made sense... If the cop doesn't get a reading, I guess he would be more likely to come after you.

Yeah i personally would go with a laser jammer since all the cops in my area and the 3 speeding tickets i received have all be with laser. I had a 9500 and returned it a week later after i read they are pretty much useless

Yes, I know that blinder has a 7 second shut off. so that after it is first shot with laser it will give you 7 seconds to slow down and shut off, so the cop can get an actual reading.

I wish laser jammers weren't illegal here.
