Anti-Theft due to Dead Battery Confusion on codes

While I was away my cousin tells me the battery in my car is dead, must have left a light on or something. I jump started the car, the screen says enter code...I have the code card, here's the confusion...

'07 TL-S w/ Navi

My Radio code on the card has 5 digits

My Navi code on the card has 4 digits

In the manual it says to enter 5 digits, which I tried but the system itself only allows 4 digits, so I tried the navi code instead and it still read wrong.

Any suggestions??? I need to buy a new battery too...

hmm, i have an 06 navi and I only have to put one code in when I fire it up. And it is a bit confusing because it only shows 4 possible digits on the screen but the 5th digit you enter is accepted and is kinda like hitting "enter".

btw, our batteries blow dog. they're supposedly like 90+ monther's and the dealerships are very good about replacing.

I heard our batteries are really weak...but didn't expect it to be so weak I had to jumpstart my car twice already within the 1 1/2 years of owning it.

Back to the code problem...

After I hit the 4th digit, the rest of key pad becomes unavailable except for 2 options "Delete" or "Enter" so you're telling me instead of "enter" hit the 5th digit?

hmm, no, that doesn't sound quite right. haven't done it in a while but I know I always put the wrong code in the first time.

I'd roll her right in to the dealer ASAP and after they change the battery request that the tech shows you how to unlock it.

Never hurts to take a look at the owners manual but I know my ID card from Acura with all the codes is very confusing - it's not intuitive which code I should input.

Have you tried using the Radio/Navi Code finder on Acura's website? I know you know the codes, but maybe this will reveal something different.

Hit Navi Button, then enter 4 digit code. Let that program and what not, then hit radio button as you enter the numbers (using the 1-6 buttons) the display up top will show up as C-O-D-E and then the last number will start your radio up

WTG, Fulani...

That's exactly what will fix it.
