another sub question

If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.

Can I use that Sub with that Amp? will they work good together? I dont understand the whole 2 ohm vs 4 ohm and 1 channel stuff lol. So if someone could help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys

Yes, they will work together. Wire the voice coils on the sub in parallel so the amp will see a 2 ohm load and allow you to get the full 500 watts out of it.

I had a that same set up about a year ago. One 12" Alpine Type-R 4-ohm wired up to an Alpine MRP-450 mono amp. I soon replaced the Alpine amp with a JL Audio 500/1.

You should have no problems whatsoever with that set up
