does everyone put their amp in the trunk? is it posible to fit an amp under a seat or in the glovebox area? I kind of hate to run long speaker wires...

also do I have to keep the factory amp? does the amp take digital in or 5.1 analog input? would I lose some function if I take it out?

From what others have told me....the 5.1 decoder is in the head unit so you don't need to keep the factory amp to retain this functionality.
