Alpine PXE-H650

Has anyone installed the Alpine PXE-H650? I am looking to upgrade my stock headunit but not sure which way to go. I know about 3 options: The other 2 are Rockfords 3 Sixty and JL cleansweep. From research that I have done so far Cleansweep so far is out of the question. Which way should I go?

A second product called the Alpine OEM Audio Processor allows users to add speakers, amplifiers and subwoofers to any OEM system. It bypasses the car's bus system so it can be used even in the newer MOST vehicles (including late model European cars). Called the PXE-H650, it first removes the equalization curves built into the OEM system and then sums together the channels to create a 4.1 sound system. It also offers advanced sound processing and is expected to ship in early summer at a target retail price of $299.

looks like i'll be going 3.sixty...

What does M.O.S.T. [BMW,Range,'01-04 MBZ] have to do with Acura?
A summing device takes the lpf an hpf in and sums to a full range out so that the LOC & DEQ can read it.

BTW: where do u get the "4" in the "4.1"

I'm assuming that 4.1 meaning no center channel? I don't think the 650 will allow leveling of a 5.1 system like our TL's, but the 3.sixty will.
