Yes. But doesn't your new radio have BT built in? If no, you failed.

Yup your new radio should have Bluetooth AND it should be much better than the factory BT, the main thing that sucks about the aftermarket radio is the appearance but then again thats pretty much based on opinion. You will also lose your center channel and factory sub since the aftermarket radio is only 4 channels and has an internal amp which means you will be bypassing the factory amp. When i first bought my car I was thinking about an aftermarket radio also but then id have to add an aftermarket sub and an amp for the sub and i didnt want to go that far.

I prefer one brand only and they do make Bluetooth but its an added part since 9 years ago it was a luxury not a request, where is the mic in the car so I can figure out where to splice the wires to add Bluetooth if I choose to add it again, aftermarket speakers and amp was done same day I bought it so no point in there

I dont understand. So does your aftermarket head unit have bluetooth or not? With an aftermarket radio you will also lose the factory BT mic which you wont need anyway because a bluetooth radio will come with its own bluetooth mic.

If i were you i wouldve atleast opted for a mid level aftermarket radio instead of a cheap one because if you want to upgrade might as well make it worth while. There are $100 aftermarket head units that have complete bluetooth control WITH the mic.

You could have easily achieved that with the OEM HU

If you want processing you should have bought a processor. The onboard equalizer isnt going to help much. In for pictures on the integration of the HU into the center stack

Im not saying the radio you bough is crap all im saying is that if you wanted to go aftermarket you might as well have bought something that is technologically updated for today instead of having to spend extra money just to have bluetooth. Now you're gonna need a seperate unit apart from the radio just for BT.

Yea your gonna need the steering wheel adapter too, post pics when u install the radio if its a single din, if its a double din then ive seen that a bunch of times so i dont care for pics. I had an old Alpine radio the 9887 that i LOVED i had it for years but besides sound quality i was embarrased when my friend's $80 Pioneer radio had built in bluetooth and all these other goodies. Thats when i realized that my $400 radio (original price) was out dated big time.

its now easier to install a tablet into the "nav" area than it is to install a full pledged headunit.

I think you should re-asses your goals and options, because as of right now, it is a clusterfuck.
