I have an enclosure/box setup of 2-12" SUB" powered by amp on my other car. Of course, the bass sounds very powerful .... I did however missing a lot of my trunk space on that car.
I don't really plan to do the same thing for my TL as I really appreciate the trunk space. I'm not really looking powerful bass anymore in my TL, however I really wish stock sub has more bass. As comparison, my friends C230 has stock sub, amp, and stereo system.. and it has much more "stock-bass" compare to my TL.

So after reading thru this forum, a lot of ppl get JL 8W3v2 as alternative route, and I have some question, if you guys can help:

1. Does JL 8W3v2 "exactly replace the stock sub... same fitting, size, and all?
2. I believe some of you say even without any MORE amp... JL 8W3v2 does give better and more powerful bass compare to stock sub... is that true? Again I'm not looking for extra loud bass... just bit louder... (at least comparable to other stock sub from other car (friend's 2006 c230)
3. Now, I'm not handy with modification myself, so should I just go to stereo store that have that particular sub, and do it... Does store do Dynamite also? how much does it cost approx?
