adobeman's dvd-a software question

I was able to successfully burn a DVD-A using Adobeman's software (thanks Adobeman) and "Burn4free" iso burner software. My car is an 07 TL type s but the only problem is i don't get the track listings. The nav screen says "Track 1, Track 2", etc.

Is this how the software works, or should I be able to see the track title? Is it because I used blank DVD+R's?

Thanks for any help

you're not going to get track names and such with DVD-A discs...they don't have the CD-Text feature like CDs do...

Agreed. I've just updated the 3G TL Audio & Electronics FAQ with this info.

THanks, for the response, but doesn't the DVD-A demo disc that comes with the car have the track names listed?

i can't comment on the demo disc because i didn't get one from the dealership when we got our TL, but it shouldn't have track names being displayed...unless it's got some feature built into it that no other DVD-A disc has...

checked tonight. The track names are not listed on the DVD-A demo disc. Kind of defeats the purpose of putting on all those songs on a singlke if you can't tell name of them

you may think you'll never know where a certain song is on a 99 track DVD-A disc because it doesn't have the CD-Text feature, but trust me, after listening to my DVD-A discs constantly, i know what song is next based on the current song i'm listening to...it's kinda strange, but you'd be surprised how repetitive these DVD-A discs can get after hearing them a few times...pretty soon we're gonna need Super DVD-A discs...
