Acura TL + HFL + iPhone 6S= Works?
I just installed a working HFL module, I'm using an iPhone 6s, but I can't get them paired. On iPhone 6S the "HandsFreeLink TM" device appears but when i enter the four digit comes the message "Connection Unsuccessful Make sure HFL is ready to pair"
I own a 2005 Acura TL Base.

I paired my iPhone SE (iOS 9.3.2) to the 2005 TL in 30 seconds about two weeks ago.
As I understand it, the SE has the same chipset and OS as the 6S/6s+, so there shouldn't be any issues pairing.
My HFL was a replacement dating back in 2011 or so, IIRC.
Did the HFL tell you to enter a 4-digit PIN before you input it into the iPhone?
Also, if the HFL is not a new unit, try clearing it of all connected phones JIC it's already got four phones loaded into it.

Since it's not a module you've used, you might as well clear every phone and phone list.

Start the HFL with the system options, which are "setup" and "clear"; the HFL should guide you on the options to clear the phones. I'm not sure if there are options to clear one phone at a time or all of them.

I believe there is a voice command where the HFL reads the names of the paired phones to you, if you want to delete each phone.
However, it's probably best to clear the entire memory of the HFL-- listen for the options when the HFL reads the menu choices.
