Acura Music Link

I was in my friends new Pilot yesterday and he had the Honda Music Link in it to control his iPod 4s. I have the iPod 5 and was wondering if I could use an adapter to get the Acura Music Link to work with my 07 TL. Has anyone done this before? I did a quick search and came up empty.

Thanks

Thanks

I have it.
It works.

In my opinion, the interface isn't great. With a full iPod, it's a pain in the ass to get to the artists that are farther down in the alphabet. Mine also crashes every once in a while. I have to disconnect my iPod, hard reset it, and then plug it back in when it reboots.

All that being said, it's probably the best OEM integration device available.

Which adapter did you end up using for the TL, and did it the final product work better than just having a cassette adapter?

How was the acura link? Did it seem ok? Is there a plus side to using the isimple if the acura link lets you use steering controls and plays your ipod/iphone?

Acura Link= not the best, never was.

iSimple will work fine for most- can be buggy

USA Spec works as well- I have one in my 06, and it works great (not buggy) and I have an AUX port for BT audio streaming. Never had an issue with mine.

Blitzsafe- I had one of these- is cheap and easy to install- the new ones have steering wheel controls but won't display the data on the HU or the upper information area. It's the cheapest (~ $70) option but not fully featured like iSimple and USA Spec.
