Accessing Wiring For Subs
Iv got two 12's laying around in a sealed box with a Rockford punch amp. I havnt used them in months and I kinda want more bass outta the TL. Iv only ever wired a sub in my blazer. Whats the best route to wire the amp for power, and how do you get to the wiring to hook in a LOC, I looked in the trunk from below with the lining out but cant see the wiring attached to the stock sub. Tips!

I think you MUST be able to get to the stock amp sub wire from the trunk although I did it with the rear deck taken out to remove the OEM sub to use that whole as kind of a port.
Just reach up and in the center hole and feel around for the wires and the harness that clips onto the sub. I believe it pulls down. I have my LOC/RCA solder pulled down there so I KNOW you have access in the trunk.
As far as wiring.
Ground on the bolt in under the trunkmat...you'll see which one...it's just to the left of the pass thru. Remote run along driver side (both power and remote wire can be run under by shoving them up and in, or you can remove the side panels which are easy)...to the acc fuse. Power you can force thru the grommet, center of firewall directly 6 inches below the strut bar. Can't miss it.

For the remote wire ill prob just run it to a switch, I dont plan on having them on all the time, just when I want some hit. Where did u hide the power wire in the car? Im trying to figure it out.

check out a DIY made by deathtotoasters which shows how to route the power wire from the battery and how to get the signals for all the speakers.

if you're not going 0 gauge, you can run it in the channel under the rubber for the door seal. If not, tuck them under the panels...they run from the front footrest (near hood release) all the way to under the rear seat. Perfect hiding place.

OK and last but not least, how do I get through the firewall, I looked for that gromment that everyone talks about and I dont see it. And where will it come out when I do find it

There's 2 or 3 I think, I used the one right above the footrest in my AT... guess it would be right above the clutch in a manual. There sould be a circle sort of coat out of the carpet stuff and foam... rip that out and right there is the plastic/rubber gromet. Then just run the wire behind the fuse and hood release panels.
