2013 navigation disc-purchase now or wait?

I got a letter in the mail that the 2013 navigation is available for $149. I definitely need the update as I am still using the original maps in my 05 TL.

Is this the cheapest out there or is it better to wait until it gets closer to the new year for the price to go down?

Thanks.

just wait for that promotion deal $99 most likely they will have one since everyone complaint about the outrageous price for update with minimal compare to previous year.

Sometime in the spring. I got my 12' update in June for $99. I needed it, I was still rolling with the original disk in my 04'.

No issues at all.

(I mean, of course I'm just using a backup of a real one so I don't have the real one in my car. What, you think I would use one downloaded from a .torrent?

...I miss demonoid.)

I need an update. Moving to Cali in a few week and don't want to rely on the new iOS 6 maps failure to get me there.

Any *real* improvement in the 2013?

A year or two ago I finally sprung for the update because the POI info was so bad for the Northeast I figured there must be some improvement. Wrong Now that it 'tis the season for the $99 deal can anybody confirm that this is actually an improvement that those of us that live on the right coast?

They have the 2013 nav discs for 99.00 right now.

I just bought one.

Both the 04-06 and the 07-08 are on sale. Definately worth picking up at that price if you think you need a new one.

Sale ends July 15th.

I have the 2012 disk and will only upgrade if they can show me evidence they fixed the routing algorithms. Otherwise, this or any new disk isn't worth the blank media it's recorded on as far as I'm concerned.
