2012 Navigation Update Orange Disc Help

I was wondering if I get this rather expensive update disc. Will the layout and fonts be updating also? I have a 2004 and I find it looks really dated. Will this update make the graphics look better?

I don't believe there are any changes to the graphics.
The update disc will only have more current POI & addresses as well as provide updates that allow the Navi to perform searches more quickly.

Hasn't someone come up with a way to get a downloadable Navi update? There has to be a free download somewhere.
