2010 Orange DVD Map Update v3.90 vs 2010 White DVD Map Update v4.81

Why does the 2010 Orange disc for 04-06 TL cover the ENTIRE Canada and the 2010 White disc for 07-08 only cover the border region of Canada.

This just kinda seems stupid and counterintuitive??

There is a separate white disk for the 07-08 4.xx models to my knowledge.

2010 map update v4.81. Question

I just bought a 2007 TL Type S. I live in Los Angeles and I was wondering if the update it's really worth the money. Also can this dvd be ripped and burned. I think I can borrow it from a friends to try and ripped and burn it. Can this be done??
