My 2007 type s navigation screen cracked. I asked the Dealer for replacement, but their price is just way too high. Looked on eBay, but there is only the whole unit with all the buttons for sale.

Would it be possible to get just a screen replacement and if yes, where? Also is it hard to replace?

I have an 06 and I am not sure if they are identical but I could never find anything close to the factory dimensions.

I have one sitting here on my table and the outside dimensions are 191mm X 118mm.

 

I was trying to find out if 06 screen fits in 07, but couldn't find anything. I just read somewhere that 07-08 cable colors are different and navigation itself has a quicker response time. I will try to look for more information. Thanks.

 

If you can get the pinouts for both years from the service manual, you could tell if at least the signal names are the same and just possibly distributed differently.

People have stuck with either all 04-06 or all 07/08 when doing conversions or repairs.

Good luck. My screen cracked and i just bought the whole unit for 425 off ebay it was for an 05. I believe yours cost more cause you have the xmtraffic and stuff. Good luck finding the screen.

 

Thank you for all the information and support. I purchased used original Acura TL 2008 navigation for $900 in almost new condition - no scratches or any wear, then replaced the buttons with mine (TL-S are red) and installed. It took about 3 hours. As always, thank you.

believe or not, buy another one to replac s better bacauseI never heard that screen able to change it. if u wanna save money, buy a 04/06(cheap) and remove the top section and replace to the cracked save the bottom 2
pieces when u need

 

If u broken glass, u can remove the top piece of glass and the second piese at the bottom, that;s will work
