alright, so i have an 05 TL, the navi disc on there is the 3.40 orange disc and i am living in the san francisco area. when i am using the navigation, it doesnt even show up the street names and sometimes it would should unnamed road. also rarely, it would actually show which road i am on and when i am trying to get directions somewhere, it would take a long time to load or it doesnt even show directions at all. do i have to get the updated version, is there something wrong with my navigation, what should i do?!?!

if you reside in a new area, then yes you need to update.....

if it's slow like way to slow. try to reset it.

that is wierd..i know my area for sure is not new or anything. It is in san francisco california. how do i reset the navi system. ive already took the disc out and put it back in.

if this is an older area. and you already removed/reinserted dvd, there might be a problem with dvd unit itself. was it always acted like this or just started recently?

when i first bought it, it was like this but i thought everything would just update and fall into place but it hasnt fixed itself really. when i turn on the car and wait for it to load, it just gives me unamed roads all the time. I thought it might have to do with the older disc but i dont think that really matters. the names of the roads show up but on the bottom it doesnt actually say the name of the street
