'08 TL-S, NEED HELP, Double Din with stock Navi
I've been searching and most of the post are from non-navi owners who want to instal a navi in.
My goal is to maintain the stock HU and all its functions but have a second head unit underneath it, that controls just the audio.
Is this possible because I have not found anyone who has done this nor DO I have any sense on how I can do this.
Looking to install all this into the TL-S
-using all pioneer gear cause I got a hookup lol
- AVH-X5500BHS - 7 inch HU
- TS- D1720C w/ tweeters for the Front
- TS-D1602R coaxils for the rear
- TS-SW841D - "8in shallow sub, replace stock sub
- With two amps GM-D8604 (speakers), GM-D8601 (sub)
Any help or direction to ppl I can ask will be great.
Thanks

The better question would be why? your HU provides excellent audio capabilities. Coaxials in the rear? thats just plain wrong. your headed for disaster. just because you get a hook up does not mean that its a good idea, and in this case it is an awful idea. You have not done enough searching. check my build thread as just an example of a low budget build. search "mild grade fever"

WHY? Because IMO it would look better than having an un-used tape and CD slot in the center. Your going way too in dept with your thread you referred to. Your over thinking it. Budget isn't a concern to me. Its making what I want work.

go for it! its gonna sound like crap, but you wont have a cassette slot. budget is of no concern to me either, sound quality is. and its not going to look better if that is your goal. its going to look non integrated. you actually need to think about these things, if you dont you will wind up in your situation.
