'07 Type S - Radio Inop when Cold

The unit turns on and station displayed an upper window on top of the dash.. but no sound. Seeveralminutes later the audio functions normally.

radio unit might have faulty electrical components whose symptoms are getting exacerbated with the cold. Make sure it's the radio and not the amp.

Most likely culprit is the amp...it is also easier to replace or swap out than the HU. I can't think of any good way to test either without having a spare on hand.
