I bought a camera and aftermarket module from Martin and I am about to install it to get a backup camera working on my 05 tl.

I have a 16 pin connector open on the back of my Nav DVD Rom... not a 7 pin (Lower left in the picture)?

Approximately $150 for the video switch box and about $15 for the camera itself. And believe me, when you finally have it, you'll wonder why you didn't install it sooner!

backup camera install

idk too too much about installing stuff and all the wiring and all but i have an '04 tl with navi and it has the little dvd thing in the trunk, i also found the license plate trim with the backup camera, i can find someone to install it for me but would i have to buy anything extra to be able to install this ? would it go directy to my navi screen ?

Would it be possible to post this picture again? Do you have a diagram that shows what each pin from the camera is for? I have a video switcher box with an RCA input, and I want to use the stock camera.

@osvaldo516 I'm trying to get a rear backup camera in my 04TL w/Navi. Do you know where to get the green connectors for the custom harness or where you can buy that harness?
