07 to 04 Radio Swap
Has anyone tried to swap out their 04 TL with the new 07 head unit yet? I realize it is still early and parts are difficult to come by. I would love the ability to play MP3's of a CD or DVD...

it's not just a simple swap.
to make it work correctly with the navi version you will need a new Navi drive, and display screen above the vents.
for non navi version, you need the screen above the vents too.

also the aux won't work, the new drive will bug you for an error for XM radio's nav traffic, acuralink and a few other things.

Not that I would do it but do you guys think the Non Navi radio on an 07 could be placed in the Non Navi 06?
The 07 Non Navi is so much nicer looking - I wondered if it would fit in the 06.....?
