06 and 08 tl climate control wiring harness

I have an 06 tl with the blue-light climate control, I just bought a new climate control from the 08 tl which is a differnet style that has two black screens and a picture of the car and direction it is going in when light up and it has a different wiring harness in the back. The climate control has two harnesses behind it one on the top and one on the bottom, the top harness fits both but the bottom harness is different on the new tl climate control. the old one is a green harness on the bottom and the new one has a blue harness on the bottom. Does anyone know either the wiring configuration that i need to change for the new harness to work with my wires or does anyone have pics or a wiring diagram for both the 06 and 08 harnesses that you could e-mail me so i could take the pins out of my current harness and re-pin them to fit the new harness??? Could really use the insight from someone that's done this already or knows how to. firefighteremtryan@yahoo.com

It sure sounds like a non-navi.

I was going to attempt it but ended up going to the navi conversion instead.

Posting some pics of the two would be helpful, but it's going to come down to having the pinouts for both the 06 and 08 units.

You can go to Helm's and sign up for their subscription service and download the info you'll need. I'm not sure if you can do two vehicles on one subscription or if you need to pay for each model year.

this is the new one for the 08 and the blue harness is for the new one

This is the 06 tl climate with the green harness that i have in my car now, trying to get the green harness to adapt to the blue harness for the new climate control. just stumped on where the pins would go into on the new blue harness

so i got it to work, thanks KN_TL, helminc had the full wiring diagram to do the transformation just had to know which wires went to which pin in the new harness. And helminc also lets you search any and all years, not just your car, which was really helpful in seeing the wire harness for both the 08 and 06 tl climate controls. thanks again

That's great. I was going to scan the 06 pins for you but you didn't need it

The newer display looks much better.
