05 TL audio help

I don't really want to disturb how my car looks, I like the stock dashboard. I put in the PXAMG using guides on this site, and now just want to make my car louder without replacing the stock dashboard. I want it to be generally loud and clear, and was thinking about starting off with just the speakers and maybe some subs in the future. Do I have to replace the factory amp if I upgrade the speakers? Also, maybe I'm just forum illiterate but I've been browsing for a while and haven't seen any walkthroughs for replacing speakers, and was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I've never done any audio work past putting in the PXAMG and didn't want to start taking stuff apart before getting an idea of what I was doing.

I'm in the same process myself, looking at websites as i type lol. But from i have learned and been told, you dont have to replace your factory amp on some speakers, but if u want to draw out the full power of the speakers then you would want to upgrade the amp.

When you decide to must your subs in and you want to keep the factory unit, then you need a sound processor. There a thread about the different types ou there. And i'm not sure if there are any threads that walk you through the installment. i'll do a quick look.

Hope this helps some. Good luck
