04' TL NAVI swap to 07' TL NAVI
My 04 TL Navi has a couple problems and I want to start fixing things and really just looking for the most cost effective way to go about all this.
04 TL Problems
- CD player doesn't play CDs anymore (when I try to play CDs it just freezes and shuts down everything, but I can use everything else on it...FM AM and etc.)
- Rear Navi needs replacement (it just restarts randomly and shuts off and etc)
- HFL has battery drain issue
I found a guy who's parting out his 07 Navi TL
- I already know the plugs are different for the HFL
- CD player plugs are different too (but can it be wired somehow, and everything will work fine?)
Would the rear Navi drive fit mine? (Is that all I need to get from him to fix it)
Other option would be to go with the Nexus 7 and remove the rear dvd drive and send my HFL for repair and buy a CD player from a 04-06 TL (does it matter if the cd player is from Navi or Non Navi?)
