^^ Those are ZKW projectors with TL stock lenses
I know the member, he used the lenses for his retro and the stock OEM fresnel lenses that he took off of the TL projectors he swapped them into the zkw projectors

no, you just have to do the reading, the seller said ZKW TL combo
normally in our 3G headlight mod, we call them TL/ZKW combo, so you figure. the seller did not mislead any information.

these photos do not make me want the new lenses more. I don't even know what you are showing me that should be more exciting? I just want to know what the fuss is about.
A while back there was some thread where people were excessively excited about weathertek floormats. But then when some photos were posted, the mats were HORRIBLE.

A clear lens swap generates the following
1) A crisp razor sharp light cut off.
2) Better spread of light.
3) A wider beam.
4) Flicker affect due to the razor sharp cut off.
I am sure you know what your TL headlights produce at night as far as light output is considered, following is output from one TL projector with a clear ZKW lens.

Here are some pictures of another clear lens combo to better indicate what I am talking about, pictures have been borrowed from a fellow member at HIDplanet.com.

I have one of the most modded TL's here, and let me say, the ZKW lens swap is in the top 5 best mods.

Before I start, kudos to those fellow TL owners spending the time & effort to install these ZKW lenses on the TL, since we all take the pride to mod. our rides.
I just wish I had the time & energy to perform the ZKW lens swap on my TL. I have a pair of ZKW lenses, which I planned to put them in my truck. Had an accident so the truck got written off. To me it makes more sense to spend the time & effort to retrofit these ZKW lenses in the truck since the truck did not have HID & projectors on it. It really is an upgrade to go from halogen to HID with ZKW lenses.
Given the fact that TLs come with "NOT AS BRIGHT AND SHARP CUTOFF" projectors...... Can't we not see clearly at night with the stock TL headlights?
Thinking about the work one has to go through just for slightly better cutoff & light output:
1) take off front bumper
2) take both headlights out
3) Put the lights in oven to take the covers off
4) disassemble headlight components to take lenses out
5) install lenses
6) might as well clear/darkout headlight, add daemon eyes, body color match
7) reassemble headlights
8) MOST IMPORTANT PART: reseal the headlights
9) install headlights back on TL
10) put bumper backon
11) test the headlights and pray for no condensation!
12) if there is condensation, repeat steps 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 & 11
Guess I'm getting older. I would not even think twice to start this project if it were 8 years ago. Now i just think about the amount of work....... I would ask.... why do I want to take these nice headlights apart since they both are working perfectly fine & looking nice? I pay for them and now I'm spending more time & make more effort to make them work... just slightly better?
Damn I guess I'm just trying to convince myself to sell my ZKW lenses...... lol
I guess I better put the flame suit on. For those who have ZKW lenses, please do not bother telling me how the ZKW lenses perform better compared to the stock TL ones. I know how they look and perform.
BTW, fellow Vancouverites, PM me if you wanna make an offer on the lenses I have.

THought you guys would never ask .
Pictures courtsey of fellow member superjoe83 at HIDplanet.com
I'll let you guys guess which one is which One of them is with stock TL projector and the other is with TL projector with real ZKW lens and the foreground shield a bit bent to increase the output height.
If you still couldnt figure out which one is which then
