Yellow Fog Lights for my KBP?

Guys;

I had a dream the other night that my 07 TLS in kbp had yellow fog lights. It looked pretty sweet. Does this sound like a mod that would match well? If so, how do I get er done? Maybe I should instead try to match the front side orange/yellow lights instead?

I'd clear out your headlights and get switchbacks and match the headlights to those. Then go with some yellow fogs via either making the plastic yellow (film, replacements) or bulbs (Nokya 2500K, 3000K HID's, etc)

I went with the Nokya option because I like it to be clear when they're off and I the bulbs were only $15. I didn't clear out my headlights and match the blinkers yet, but soon enough...

haha I do have bigger dreams but this is not the place to discuss those

I don't really want to mod the main lights but I think changing the color of the fog lights would be pretty cool.

Here's another option for you:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/g-082-08-wdp-tl-s-yellow-fog-light-mod-diy-643146/

You get 1/4" plexiglas protection plus deep yellow color. They do not even touch the fog lens. No worry about burning tint or custom bulbs.

wow these look like sweet options! I was wondering if it would look even better to match the turn signals instead which are more of an orange color? But come to think of it, you cant have those lights + fog lights on at the same time from my understanding...

I have 3000k HID kit fogs and love them. Gives a nice contrast with the color of the car.

Gene,

The tints are easy. Try BlueBatmobile.net-I ordered 6/10 half tints for my headlights and like them alot. Hey, not to change the subject, but what did you decide to do about your UR pulley?

Steve;

I can't do the pulley b/c I can't find a Honda certified mechanic that will do it for me. I guess I will keep searching.

Is there a chart for color vs temp on these lights so I can pick the right one?

yes thanks Nate, so it looks like I need a 3000k HID bulb replacement for my fog lights. I'd also want the yellow cover so it looks yellow during the day.

if they are the factory Osram bulbs then yes, they color shift to the 5-6k range. They start from 4300K and lose intensity after use.

NO FILM!!

Do the bulbs. It's like 20 bucks. You don't like 'em, change back; you won't go broke if decide to change.

blue TL with Yellow fogs looks great but what color is your TL? some colors won't look that great in my opinion. I would just got yellow HiD kit so when i'm riding at night it would look sick but don't look alll to crazy with my car's color in the day time.
