I think it would go well with the darker colors... Of course this ps job is way off from what it should look like, if this were legal in your state would you do it?

IMO, the rear side marker looks good if it's not RED.

I think it depends on the color of the car. I like red with my WDP because of the contrast, but it might look good with other colors.

Yup! This is one of the main reasons for me choosing WDP. My avatar tells the story.

Don't like it. Tail lights are supposed to be red.

hehe well everything would still retain the color of its functionality (when you brake its gunna be red), i dunno just comparing what our car might look like if Lexus' "Rear light design department" worked with acura on the TL. the new Lexus RX have clear rear lenses right?

Kudos to the one who voted for rice.

Me too. I mean I like your car (but I like mine as is, too). That's a beautiful picture. If I didn't like my WDP so much, RRP would have been my choice.

Pretty car Ken. I was this close to getting red/black before I saw the silver/black combo.

He used Adobe Photoshop to apply grayscale to his taillights and side marker.

svtmike hit it on the dime.. well i just made the grey layer a little darker, to make it more believable... I dont have the guts yet to figure out how to do such a feat. well we will see what cTLgo has in store for us.

If I had a black or anthracite one, yes. SSM, I'm not so sure. I'd have to see it done.

I've been conisdering this mod. I had smoked taillights on my silver A6's and liked the way they looked. The only thing is, I wouldn't want to have the lenses painted or tinted. I'd want another pair of lenses as I did with my Audi's. Hella makes a smoked version of the A6 taillights as well as the OE red. I've decided to wait for the aftermarket. Maybe someone will make a lense I like. What I'd really like is a taillight like the A-Spec concept, maybe not exactly like it but something similar.

The only way I see it looking proper would be on an NBP but anything other than that I wouldn't try it.

Ken, awesome depth and shine.

If I can see two ladders hoisted on the back wall of your garage (and a lawnmower on the side); you know you've done an excellent job.

Just out of curiosity... Zaino or other brand(s)?
