Post PIAA for me

I've been using PIAA wipers on my Xterra and I'm overdue for a replacement but they are still holding up just fine and wipe great even after 3+ years of use. I've used RainX in combination with the wipers and I'm impressed at how long the RainX stays on the windshield.

It was well worth spending the extra money on the wipers and I've been totally satisfied with the PIAA brand. Much more reliable than their bulbs on my Xterra.

I got a set of Bosch Icons, but it seems that the 19" model does not fit the curvature of the window so well. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have the same issue as well. I've tried several different wiper brands and all have had this issue. The passenger side of the passenger wiper does not touch the window until the wiper has come up the windshield a few inches. I think it may just be the curve of the windshield. I've learned to deal with it. The area thats needs to be clean/ clear directly infront of me is what matters.

yes thats normal for the TL, a little bit extra window curve right at the end
The Icons will blow your mind over the stock blades!
Like their ad says- Only Grandma hugs tighter

and in ice and snow there are no external things for buildup to catch on

I agree. I still have that orignal set, no streaking and they still hug tightly. Also a new alternative to the ICON's are the Rain-X Lattitude wipers. Same conept as the Icons, just different company. Not sure if the prices are different, but I love the ICON's. And for the member that said mounting was hard, I got the wipers on in less than a minute. Just squeeze the cap to lift up, put on arm hook and then click cap closed.

I also need one that can also handle snow because i make constant trips to the north. Any help is appreciated

Valeo!!! $20 bux (for both) at tirerack (on sale!)

Also use Aquapel applicator, and amazing thing that repels water/ice/snow for over a year!

Put them together, you'll enjoy great results!
