Windshield fog on start-up?
I have had my car for about a month now, and have noticed that everytime I start the car, my windshield fogs up from about half-way, down.
I know that humidity, the difference in temp., etc. plays the primary role in causing this, but it happens EVERY time. Does this happen for anyone else?
It never happened in my 01 CL.

You may also want to try cleaning the inside of your windshield with Stoner's invisible glass. Fog on glass appears quicker on dirty glass. (not saying your windshield is not sparkling clean) but fog sticks to unseen dirt very easy.

I've noticed the same thing. It doesn't do it first thing in the morning but if I drive the car and then start it within 2 hours of the last time it does fog up. I use Stoners and wonder what it could be? Water sitting in the defrost air ducts? I usually have my climate control set half on my feet and half on the front shield and the temp set to 27-29 degrees. I live in Vancouver so humidity isn't a big problem. I have noticed water under the car after I drive it much like what you'd see if you had the A\C on.

this is because you had your defroster on before.
what you can do is before you turn the defroster off, press mode and change the air flow away from the windshield. your ac setting stays at defrost even though it is turned off. so, if you don't change that, then you still have air coming into the windshield and i think that's what makes it worse.
try it and hope that works.

Imaginis: Also make sure you dot not have the recir engaged - I see cars all the time that look like greenhouses inside, and almost always one can see they have the recirc door setting closed.

1) I just cleaned my windshield thinking that that was the cause. However, I did not use any anti-fog.
2) My defrost is not "On". I have to turn it on after I crank up to de-fog the windshield.
3) Shouldn't recirculation be "off" in order to allow fresh air?
I just mentioned it to my co-worker, and she said the same thing happens to her windshield when she first cranks up.
oh well
