Windshield Cracked
In the morning I found my 04 TL's windshield with this huge crack on the front windshield, its only a line, there is absolutely no sign of vandalism. Its one line, coming from the driver side goes up about half way of the windshield. I left the car outside last night, it was very humid out too.
Anyone have an idea why this happened?

Sounds like a stress crack. If there's no evidence of a rock chip or something hitting the windshield, Acura should cover the replacement.

They did give me a discount, but I still had to pay and put in with my insurance

Exactly same thing happened to me!
It just cracked when I was washing my car.
I got it replaced for free under warranty in Vancouver here!
The first dealer refused to replace it, they just pointed out a very tiny split saying it was caused by a chip, but it seems to me that split was caused by the crack. The split was about 0.05cm, right under the rubber on the driver side.
But I tried another dealer, and the manager said it's under warranty

Mine cracked in the car wash...stress crack. Dealer just went through the crack, tracing with a pen, trying to find any impact (i.e. rock). They did not, of course, and ordered and installed a new windshield under warranty.
If it's a stress crack, they'll cover. If there's some sign of impact, it's not a warranty item.

I cracked 2 in two weeks... had to pay the deductible on my insurance ($1000). I've since changed my insurance coverage. I should add that coverage will depend on your home state. I'm in Virginia, so it's not covered. If I still lived in my home state -- Florida -- it would have been.

After I went to NorthShore to replace my windshield, I started doing the services at NorthShore. Even though Lougheed is 10mins driving and NorthShore is 30 mins driving. They got Big glass which you can look thru how they maintain your car. The place looks clean, and the manager is nice.
By the way, I checked NorthShore Acura , under the Service section, it says, North Shore Acura is ISO9001 Certified. and it has all the update such as, Second Gear Inspection and Timing Belt Tensioner. I checked Lougheed Acura and find nothing in their website. I personalyl think NorthShore is more professional and has the ability to distinguish Acura from Honda.
If you have time, check out NorthShore, you will be surprised
