Window weld for rear window spoiler install?

I'm about to install my rear window spoiler and was wondering if i should use 3M double sided tape or 3M window weld.

I read a bunch of posts and some have had success with the tape while others say window weld is a must so I am thinking of going with the window weld.

For those that used window weld, did you use the strips or the one that requires a Caulking Gun?

also, is window weld removable?

thanks!

i say it depends on which roof spoiler you have. if its the lip spoiler from ebay, you should be fine with the 3m tape.
window weld should be a must if you have an atlp spoiler, just make sure it cures for atleast a day or so, its been holding up great on mine so far, no signs of coming off. im pretty sure its removable, but probably require a heatgun to soften it up.

I used 3M double sided tape. Mine has been on for a few years-no problems at all.
