Will window tint pass NY state inspection?

hi

I just move to NY. Does anyone know whether 35% window tint will pass NY state inspection or not? Thanks

yes i have 35 all around and always pass.

i've done NYS inspection past couple of years in NYC but never had a problem with 20%.
they never check window tints

Depending were you go to get it inspected... Money talks in NYC, I must agree... I had an Integra with all types of crap on it and it wouldn't pass emissions and safety requirements and all I had to do is make a call and my inspection ticket was delivered to me...
