I don't exactly know which section to put this in. I guess the MOD will move it if I'm wrong.

I want to know if the chrome TL-S front grille will fit on the base TL?

I also want to know what the part # is for the Type-S trim piece that goes above the liscence plate, but below the A?
That part is chrome too, right?

wrong section, it should probably just be in the "Third Gen TL (04-08)" area one level up. This is more for performance mods, not just mods in general...but no biggie.

It will fit, but it is a different size so you need to buy the 07+ bumper in order for it to work.

Dont know the #, but i am pretty sure it is the same dark chrome color. There is another thread talking about just this part in that section i mentioned above. More answers may be found there...

The 07-08 Type-S front grill parts will fit on a 07-08 Base TL, but not on a 04-06 TL.

Elegant TYPE S

This picture will show you the outlines of where the TYPE S differs from a base. This car is a TYPE S and decided to throw on a eBay grill with Base dimensions. Pretty retarded looking if you ask me.. but nonetheless it illustrates it beautifully. The base grill is smaller and you can see that here. And just for the record.. this is not my car and would never do something so waack.
