Will lifting the engine help remove the alternator?
Similar to how one jacks up the engine a but while removing motor mounts, would doing that also help with the alternator at all?
I just replaced the side and front mounts a couple weeks back, so want to know if this will cause added difficulty.

Remove the radiator fan/shroud and you should have plenty of space.

Well turns out didn’t have to remove the fan. Was able to wrestle it out by moving the power steering hoses out the way and disconning one of them. Pretty easy tbh, difficulty slightly harder than the side engine mount

Late to the discussion but I was able to remove the alternator without removing the radiator. I used some Liquid Wrench around the area where the large bolt goes through the block. It's a extremely tight fit, and let the solution work it's way in there for awhile (~10 minutes) before trying to pry out the alternator. Do not get any of the Liquid Wrench on the alternator as it can erode the magnet wire coating which will ruin the alternator.
