Hi all,

It's been forever since I posted here...

I installed the Ron Jon body kit years ago and painted my front grill black. The paint job worked for a while but now is chipping like crazy.

I was wondering if I could get some input on whether or not this kit:

would fit on the Ron Jon bumper? I believe the RJ bumper in terms of the grill area is identical to stock, but not sure.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just cut the cross bar out and patch in where it was using Bondo and add the mesh? I have no idea of the drop-in will fit the RJ

I do not see why not. The RJ bumper has to have the same dimensions in grill size so that it can align with the rest of the front end. However I did exactly what the above poster mentioned already. Cut the cross bar, used fiberglass and plastic welding to fill in the gaps and then just shot the bumper. I then had my emblems black chromed and made the floating A.

My floating A however has the Circular housing from the front end but issing the cross bars.

You guys are ambitious to make your own grill! Unfortunately, I've got too much going on to have the time to do it. But if you think it'll fit, that's good news, I think I'll go ahead and order it.
