i ordered 2008 tl type s mufflers off a member on here for $230 cad shipped , and was just wondering if i can bring it to a shop and get a direct swap , will it fit ? or will i have 2 do modifications? thankss

It's not a bolt-on deal.

If you bought just the mufflers, the passenger side is cut, meaning welding is required. The passenger side is connected the main mid-pipe, all the way to the 3rd cat.

The tips will not fit the Base bumper without trimming. For a clean look, you will need either the TL-S A-Spec lip on a cut/trimmed Base bumper, or a TL-S bumper. The TL-S lip looks the best IMO, it really flows with the rear end especially if you have the reast of the A-Spec kit.

yeah i thought i was goin 2 have 2 get it welded im bring it in to a shop anyways, i was thinkin about buyin the aspec front and side and rear kit but i was also interested in the rear tl type s lip, when can i get the type s lip?

You HAVE to get the Type-S rear. Either you can get it from the stealer, or you can look in the BM here for one.
