I want to buy all weather mats from a 2007 TL-type S, but will this fit on my 2004 Acura TL? What is the difference, or is there one?

i am almost positive that there will be no differences. i am pretty sure that acura only makes one set and they fit all 3g TLs.

and the same should be true for aftermarket mats as well.

Should be Identical. The type-s uses the same seat mounting points, etc.

INCORRECT! the 04 all weather mats are different from the 05+ ones. The mats in the rear are different as the rail cutouts are different.

Hell there csmeance, I want to buy these mats from jeeper31 (https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/fs-all-weather-mats-382913/), he told me that these mats will fit in my 04 TL. Is he correct? If these mats does not fit, will these mats be bigger or smaller than the original 04 mat? Thanx!

no, it will not, look at the edge of the mat in the sellers pic. This is the reason. The edge must be shaped like an L like the other side, not like a stair steps. You could trim them if you wanted, but it would ruin the look of it:

Let say I dont want to trim it, will the mats still fit in the front and rear as well? Will it look bigger or smaller? THANX!

So u r saying the front mats will fit correct? But the rear mats will not fit, correct? If it doesnt fit, will the mats be bigger or smalller than the OEM TL mat on the 04 TL? If I dont trim it will it fit bigger or smaller? Do u know? Thanx!

the mats should fit in the front, in the rear, one will fit fine, the other will have a slight overlap onto the seat track.

If you don't know what the difference is, why do you have to have ones from an 07 Type S?
Couldn't you just get some from an 04? just wondering
