Will an 07 TL Key Fob work on my 05 TL?
Hey guys, I'm wondering if I purchased a 07 TL Key Fob that has already been cut and programmed for the 07 TL. Can I get it reprogrammed for my 05 TL?

If it was cut for the '07 then No, it will not work in your '05. You need to have the key blank for the year '07-'08 milled to fit the ignition of the '04-'06's. Check out Heeltoeauto (as stated in the thread above)if you want the switchblade key for your '05, I did and couldn't be happier--You will still have to have it cut at the dealer or other locksmith, and then programmed at the dealer.
