Will an 07 dash work perfectly in an 04? I've read of it being done but no exact details. I'm going to pull it from a car in the morning so just want to be 100% before I take the time to do it.

The dashboards are the same. The wiring harness will be different between 04-06 and 07-08 base and Type S models. The harness are also different between auto and manual tranny and with base stereo or nav option.

Easiest would be to find a donor with the exact same options as yours and then just swap the entire dash assembly so you don't have to transfer over the harness.

I'd love to wait and get the exact one but we only get about 4 uncracked ones in the junkyard a year and I finally had time to grab one. I took everything off so harness would have to be swapped over anyways.

$31 and a few hours of my time it's home. Would have been way faster but I was removing unnecessary stuff cause it thought it was stuck but I actually just had to pull harder.

It can for sure be pulled alone but 2 people would have been a lot easier and less risky.

Well kind of... lol so they want $90 for a dashboard so I told them it's the dash pad which technically isn't a lie same thing basically and it was $31. But to be fair I did remove the metal bar and everything off of the dash so if was just the plastic top piece.

Ok this may be a complicated question to answer but do you know if all of the connectors on drivers side need to be unplugged? I'm taking about all the ones plugged into that silver box. At the junkyard I didn't care so I just cut them all but that would be a lot to actually unplug

Yes, unplug all the harnesses from the kickpanel box. You pretty much have to unplug everything under the dash and unplug all the center console harnesses.

Also, do not unbolt the steering wheel column from the shaft. Just unbolt it from the brace and lay it down on the floor.
